why does everybody look offline

    does it bother anyone else talking to someone on msn that's appearing offline? it drives me completely insane, especially cos ya never really know when the person's gone or not if they don't say they're leaving... one of my friends is always doin that, or sends me a message then never replies to me after... ugh!
