bu bayburt denen ilcik, ilcik olabilmek için iki tane köy ilçe yapıldı amk.. eskiden erzuruma bağlıydı, sonra iki kat daha yakın olan gümüşhaneye bağlanmasına karar verildi o kadar.. gümüşhane tüm ilçeleriyle uyum içindeyken bu bayburt siyasi sebeblerle kendisine 70 km uzakta bi yerden siyasi kaygılarla ayrıldı.. bir seçimlik oysunuz, il olmakla övünenler..

dipnot:bayburtluya düşman değilim, bayburt il olsun diye gümüşhaneye söveni inci gibsin.. zaten bayburtlula gümüşhaneliyi ayrt etmek zor..
